Gaia Pentasphere is 33 inches in diameter and is made of copper that is treated to inhibit oxidation. This sphere is well-built from quality materials and weighs about 18 pounds. It comes as a kit that you can easily assemble with a screwdriver. All of the six (6) rings are inter-connecting and fit together at the cross sections. The entire sphere sits within the same plane. The Gaia Pentasphere is custom made from raw copper and zinc into very sturdy 5/8 inch copper pipe alternating with a copper-plated zinc alloy at the cross sections. The origins of the Gaia Pentasphere start with American geneticist Dr. Derald Langham, who is known in some circles as the “father of sesame” for his work with the genetics of sesame. While in
The Genesa Crystal, as Langham called it, was based on his observations of cell mitosis and the eight point patterns of embryonic growth and development. According to Langham, "Genesa is the coded matrix of your own life force and is directly related to the living energy moving in spirals in all forms of growth, development, and change". The eight-fold pattern follows a geometric code of manifestation. In the language of living cells, eight symbolizes spirit made into flesh as it follows the eight stages of cellular division. The invisible is made visible. It is at this eight-fold stage that all life forms are identical and at this point all organisms are said to hold the infinite potential of the Universe.
The Genesa Crystal uses four interwoven circles to create a spherical cube octahedron, or “cuboctahedron”. It is an Archimedean Solid that uniquely contains within it all of the 5 Platonic Solids (tetrahedron, cube, octahedron, icosahedron, dodecahedron). These shapes are the building blocks for all organic life. The icosadodecahedron is a many-sided, polyhedron with 32 faces: 12 pentagons and 20 triangles. Conversely, it can also be said to be made of 12 interlocking 5-pointed stars or pentagrams, depending on how you look at it.

Another geometrical concept worth mentioning here is the concept of infinity and variety. Infinity is a divine concept and can be described as unbounded space and time or a beginning that has no end. The triangle, pentagon, and pentagram each contain within them an infinite number of possible variations. Inside the triangle, for example, one can create multiple triangles within triangles, within triangles,…forever. Similar variations can be found within the pentagon and pentagram. Based on the symbolic representation of infinity and variety, the pentasphere could be related to all of creation, in all of its many forms.
Gaia Pentasphere Geometric Historical and Cultural References
When the geometry of the Pentasphere is described as triangles and pentagons, no one may pause to ponder the meaning of these shapes. But considering the varied historical and cultural references to the five-pointed star or pentagram, perhaps some mention of how it has been associated may be helpful.
The first known uses of the pentagram are found in Mesopotamian writings dating to about 3000 BC. According to the Greek mathematician and philosopher Pythagoras, five was the number of man, because of the five-fold division of the body, and the ancient Greek division of the soul. According to Pythagoras, the five points of the pentagram each represent one of the five elements that make up man: fire, water, air, earth, and psyche (energy, fluid, breath, matter, and mind; liquid, gas, solid, plasma and aether). The Christ Consciousness Grid or energy grid of the planet is made of a combination of 2 platonic solid shapes - the dodecahedron (12 pentagons) and the icosahedron (20 triangles).
